Many of us, SMart included, depend on outside funding and grants. But it isn’t easy. We’re new to this as well. On this part of the website we’ll share our experience, and encourage you to do the same. Other than the obvious Heritage Lottery and Arts Council Funds here are some of the online resources we’ve looked at so far:

SPARK is simply a brilliant resource
Charity Excellence Framework
Its focus is on charities, community interest companies and schools. The list for arts, culture, heritage and science alone is long – 61 pages – but maybe worth a look.
Grants Online
Annual subscription is £99 but you can get the headlines and follow up independently without it.
SMART SOCIALS
We’ll be running SMart Socials with a focus on grants and raising funds with experts who can advise and answer questions.
